Kšicova, Danuše, Prof. Dr. Phil. Dr. Sc.: Lecturer since 1956 at òstav slavistiky FF, Masaryk University Brno (MU), Faculty of Arts. 1961: senior lecturer. 1990: professor. 1995: Associated professor. She lectures on the history of Russian literature and is the author of 6 books (e. g. Art Nouveau: Word and Image, 1998) and co-author of 4 others (e. g. The Drama of Russian Symbolism, 1-3, 2001-04) co- ed. of 6 publications (e. g. Litteraria Humanitas 1991 – 1998, 2003). She has written over 300 studies published at home and abroad, 220 articles, reviews and transmissions, translations of 22 TV plays, 4 theatre plays, essays, and Russian poetry. Member of: the Literary Association (since 1960), Association of Russian Studies (since 1970), International Association of Word and Image Studies (since 1993), several Editorial boards. Received many awards.
