Perras, Michele

Perras, Michele is a Research Associate and Community Ambassador at the Beal Institute for Strategic Creativity in Toronto, a non-profit organization whose primary goal is to understand the intersections between human behaviour and technology for education, innovation, design and business. Michele’s recent research focuses upon emergent and hybridized forms of learning, community and social presence within digitally-mediated experiences. Past projects include acting Research Lead in developing content and structure for The Imagination Challenge: Strategic Foresight and Innovation in the Global Economy (PeachPit Press, 2006), authored by Alexander Manu, BISC Director of Research, and as content developer in Workshop Development and Outreach. Michele is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art & Design, where she studied Material Culture and Metalsmithing.
