KCTOS: Knowledge, Creativity and
Transformations of Societies

Vienna, 6 to 9 December 2007

The KCTOS-Conference will be opened with a plenary session. Detailed discussions will take place in sections (working groups) with between 5 and 70 participants. The synergies will be created by the preparation (publication of the initial questions of the section leaders, as well as the abstracts of the contributors), PR done by the INST (WWW with more than 100.000 unique users in more than 140 countries, TV, radio, print media) as well as the publication of the contributions and the documentation of the project and the presentations in more than 40 countries.

The special role of the section leaders will be emphasized by the fact that their names will be projected on the presentation screen during the opening ceremony, that they will be named as co-editors of the renowned documentations (Hardcover book, DVD, CD [conference part]:, and that they will be referred to in the PR explicitly at all times. Only the section leaders will be refunded their travel costs and the stay in the conference hotel according to arrangements made before the conference with them. Air tickets will be provided or refunded according to arrangements made.

The task of the section leaders is to organise a section (working group, workshop) of at least 5 contributors (excluding the section leader). This minimum number must actually take part in the conference (otherwise the costs for the section leader cannot be refunded). Then the sections have to be moderated, attendance lists of the sections have to be kept, contributions need to be collected and edited. The organisation of the publication (hardcover book, DVD, CD) as well as the presentations worldwide are done by the INST. A few sections which are of special public interest will be emphasized in 2007 for the first time in the media and PR.

The registration of a section is to be done exclusively through the conference co-ordinator Wiss.Dir.Dr. Herbert Arlt.

The following information must be provided:

This model has proven itself both in 2003 and 2005. The INST is looking forward to an excellent co-operation in 2007 again.
