There are many mountains. Similar conditions of life create similar modes of behavior. Similar architecture (a great deal of stone). Similar diet, similar cooking (everywhere "Kasnocken"), similar clothing (made of sheep wool). The universally similar manner of naming demonstrates this principle clearly. Example: important mountains are called "old"; the old mountain/old mountain/old father (in Czech Praded), in Bulgarian Stara Planina. In Quechua-Indian Machu picchu, The result is a similar culture, a similar linguistic worldview. If one looks beyond the language differences, one will be able recognize the non-unified unifying aspects of the Alpine cultures.
