"Une passeur de frontiers": Hermann Bahr und FrankreichBased on Bahr's commentaries in his diaries, notebooks and letters, this presentation will attempt to demonstrate the interaction of the artistic and literary impressions gained during his time in Paris. Political, cultural and literary events will be discussed and confronted with his writings to show how he served as a cultural mediator between Paris and Vienna, between France and the German-speaking countries. .
