Çakmak, Melek, Dr.: Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Instruction in the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Gazi Education, Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey. Graduated 1990 from Gazi University, Gazi Education Faculty, Department of Educational Sciences, Curriculum Development and Instruction. Completed master program 1994 in Ankara University about Curriculum Development and Instruction. Doctoral program 1999 at Leicester University, School of Education. Areas of interests include effective teaching and teacher, qualitative research on teaching, teacher education, curriculum development and evaluation, mathematics education at primary level. Publications about the above areas. Participated in many conferences.
