Radhia MEBARKIA is an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) assistant-professor and a PhD researcher at Setif 2 University, Algeria. She obtained a Bachelor Degree in Foreign Languages Teaching (English) from the Foreign Languages’Department of Ferhat Abbas University, then a specialized Magister Degree of Applied Linguistics and Foreign Languages Teaching from the English Language and Literature Department of Setif University, Algeria. Radhia is certified in English Language Teaching to Adults “CELTA” from Cambridge University, United Kingdom.She has 12 years of teaching experience in preparatory, middle, secondary, private and state schools, scientific and literary departments, continuing and university centers. She has taught EFL to young and adult learners (Chemistry engineers, translators, aviators, inspectors, doctors, TOEFL candidates,…), Grammar, Phonetics, Oral Expression, Written Expression, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Second Language Acquisition, Educational Psychology, Didactics, Methodology of Scientific Research, English for Specific Purposes, and British Literature. She has supervised 22 Master 2 students of Language sciences. Her research areas include:
innovative education, autonomous Learning, Cognition, critical thinking (skills, dispositions, styles,…), online learning and E-learning, English Language Teaching (ELT) development and methodology, teachers’ professionalism, Research Methodology and Academic Research. Radhi is the author of several academic articles. She delivered presentations in several national and international conferences in
Algeria, France, Turkey and other countries.
