Meyer-Maril, Edina, Dr., senior lecturer at Tel Aviv University, and lectures both in the Department of Art History and the School of Architecture, the latter of which she was one of the founding members. She studied Art History, Judaism and Roman Languages at the Free and Technical Universities of Berlin and has been teaching since 1974 at the Tel Aviv University. She was also a guest lecturer at the Technion, the Hebrew University and the Bezalel Academy. Her main research fields are the History of Architecture in Israel with emphasis upon European Influences, Design History, Bauhaus, Synagogue Architecture and Aspects of Orientalism.
