Nowacki, Mark

Nowacki, Mark, assistant professor of philosophy at the recently-established Singapore Management University. Prior to joining SMU, Mark taught at George Washington University and Howard University. His formal education includes the University of Pennsylvania (where he was perhaps the first person ever to transfer out of the Wharton Business School to pursue a degree in philosophy), the National University of Singapore, and the Catholic University of America, where, much to the surprise of everyone involved, he earned his doctorate. In addition to his preoccupation with Cultural Theory, Mark’s current research involves examination of the logical foundations of thought experiments and work in both the philosophy of economics and the philosophy of religion.
