Ploeţeanu, Mariana: doctoral student: “Babes-Bolyai” University, Cluj Napoca, Romania. Scientific researcher: “Gheorghe Sincai” Institute for Social Sciences and the Humanities of the Romanian Academy, Targu Mures, Romania. Interests: modern history of Romania, political history of Transylvania in the 19th century, social history, history of ideas and of political doctrines, travel literature. She has published an important number of studies and articles in scientific publications. She is the editor of several books of history and historiography.
