Zaman, Mehmet

Zaman, Mehmet, Dr., born in 1968 in Tonya/Trabzon (Turkey). He graduated from the Department of Geography at Atatürk University in 1990 and in the same year he here began his academic career as a research assistant. Zaman received his MA in 1996 with his thesis entitled A geographical Study of Tonya town center and his PhD with his thesis A Geographical Study of Tonya in 1996. Mehmet Zaman currently works as an Assistant Professor in the department of Geography, Human and Economic Geography and his fields of interest are settlement, population and Tourism Geography at the Atatürk University, Turkey.
