These contributions to TRANS 26 have a background which goes back to the 1990ies: the founding of INST in 1994, the performance of INST at the Cultural Commitee of the European Parliament in 1998 (which led to the project „Cultural Policies of the EU Member States. Perspectives for the 21st Century), the support of UNESCO for the World Project of Mountains in 2001.
INST organized 8 world conferences (starting at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris 1999), published TRANS and developed a new world public for science and the arts.
In 2022 it seemed that a new approach is possible. This was the G20 summit in Indonesia. And some of the analyses (the fading of the Petrodollar, the necessity of a new financial system) were confirmed by the developments, but also by the analyses of EZB or IWF.
In 2023 a new approach seems to be necessary. Once more Jura Soyfer plays a role (bis play Broadway Melody 1492 in Hindi), the session within the conference The rise of Asia was important, but also the project „The Iron Age. Poems 1973-2023“.
An issue of TRANS is never completed, but within 2023 the main contributions shall be published.
